Anyma is the solo project of Berlin-based DJ and producer Matteo Milleri, better known as the other half of Tale Of Us and co-founder of Afterlife Records. The project is known for its melodic house and techno sound. The project allows the artist to establish a link between the NFT world and the real world. “Anyma is a mixed media concept, where visuals and music combine to create a new form of creative output” “We are leveraging the blockchain to empower it, bring it to the community and sustain it financially” The project does not mean the end of Tale Of Us, but rather serves to “empower” the Tale Of Us project.
Matteo started his Anyma with the release of the debut EP named Sentient’ which was released on the 4th of June 2021 and was followed by the drop of his NFT genesis “Claire” The project is live-focused and is characterised as a “self-generated consciousness” By harnessing cutting-edge technology, music production, and design, the project aims to dissolve the boundaries separating the physical and digital domains, creating a seamless integration between the two. For this project, Matteo worked with visual artist Alessio De Vecchi who helped to visually and sonically portray a story providing an aesthetic experience while simultaneously communicating a story to the audience. He also worked with many other artists, such as Giusy Amoroso, who created the world’s first full-size full-definition NFT music video and Grimes for a track called ‘Welcome To The Opera’.
The project consists of twelve different visual pieces. The NFTs are sold with a two-to-three-song EP and are sold for an average of 50 ETH; the earnings of the NFTs are used by Matteo and Alessio to fund future events and to keep working on the project.
