2023 marked the tenth anniversary of Nora En Pure’s ‘Come With Me’, the instantly-recognisable, piano-led deep house track that launched her onto the world stage. The Swiss-South African artist born Daniela Di Lillo has come a long way since, but the melodically and emotionally rich energy that defined that breakthrough single has remained, and has fuelled her ascent in the Top 100 DJs poll once again this year.
She kicked the year off with a lengthy tour around North and South America, which featured stops at festivals including Groove Cruise, Coachella, Ultra and Lollapalooza. In that time, she also released the singles ‘Indulgence’ and ‘Spring Embers’. As her globetrotting summer tour rolled on, she dropped the lush ‘Wholehearted’ EP, before celebrating the ‘Come With Me’ milestone with ‘Do No Wrong’, a new anthem reworked from its classic beat and piano chords.
All the while, she’s continued raising awareness for ocean conservation through her work with the Beneath The Waves and Only One initiatives. Not only that, but her passion for wildlife photography had a boost too when a portrait she took of a lioness carrying her cub was nominated for the The Greatest Maasai Mara Photographer Of The Year award. It seems for this star, the only way to go is up.
