Coming out of COVID I was unsure how things could be the same and truthfully they haven’t been. They’ve been better. There’s nothing more powerful to make you appreciate what you have than to lose it for a while. When I was approached to be the first person to perform for the public at SoFi Stadium it was intimidating. There was a remarkably tight window to pull it together and I didn’t know if people were ready to be together yet. And I also knew there was no world where I would say no to the challenge.
July 17, 2021 I played to a sold out stadium, my first solo headlining show leaving the pandemic. It was a career high and I still get chills when I watch these videos. I’m putting the full set up on my YouTube today to commemorate that night three years ago. Thank you to the team that brought it together, the artists who performed and most importantly the audience who jumped off the cliff with me.
