Last weekend took a turn I would have never expected. After my show on Sunday my body literally started shaking and I had to be transferred by helicopter to Athens hospital where I had to stay for 5 days. My immune system was basically at zero and I could have contracted anything. Despite having a healthy diet and working out every day, touring so much and an accumulated lack of sleep will hit you at one point. I was diagnosed with Epec and Astrovirus and needed to take some time off to recover, which unfortunately also means I had to cancel shows for the first time in my career. I was really excited to come and play for you all this past week and am really gutted I couldn’t make it. This week of rest and good care by the nurses and doctors has allowed me to come back stronger and I can’t wait to see you all out there again.
I hope I can make up for those missed shows very soon and I can’t wait to be back on stage!
