Who remembers all the comments I got while touring pregnant? 🥲 it was not an easy decision to become pregnant in the “peak” of my career, but I really wanted to have both my life as a touring artist but also start a family. I know some of you were very worried, but even if I kept touring all over the world, I was never stressed during my pregnancy, all I felt was happiness and love, I did my usual breathing exercises and meditation twice a day, ate super healthy, canceled all indoor shows where people smoked or where I was not in control of the volume in the dj booth. I always had my decibel meter, turned the volume down in my dj booth and mixed in my headphones. (Many people don’t know this but as a DJ you have your own speakers that you can control) Being pregnant and giving birth was the absolute most empowering thing I have ever experienced, some people thought I would probably want to take a step back, but I feel so much more ambitious and creative as I ever did. My baby girl is now 7 months, she is the calmest and most happy baby you have ever seen 🥲❤️ and yes, her hearing is perfect. During my pregnancy I had to read a lot of very negative comments so I wanted to share this for all people out there that might needed to hear my positive experience ❤️✨
